Job Description

A leading global law firm is seeking a full-time Junior Associate with 0-2 years of experience to join its Energy & Natural Resources practice group in Houston. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with a dynamic, nationally recognized team on a wide range of complex domestic and international energy transactions. These include mergers and acquisitions, project development, project finance, project contracts, and other transactional matters across conventional, renewable, and transitional energy sectors. About the Practice

The Energy & Natural Resources team advises clients across key segments of the energy industry, including oil and gas, LNG, electricity, minerals, and renewable energy technologies such as wind and solar. Attorneys within the group collaborate across multiple offices, providing transactional, regulatory, project development, and litigation support to clients operating throughout the U.S. and global markets. The firm's extensive platform enables seamless service across major energy hubs.

Job Requirements

  • 0-2 years of legal experience; prior exposure to the energy sector is a plus
  • J.D. degree (or pending completion) from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials
  • Admission or pending admission to one or more state bars
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (required)
  • Strong writing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and thrive in a collaborative team environment
  • Must be in good standing with the Texas State Bar, or willing to sit for the Texas Bar Exam in summer 2026 if not yet admitted
